Is it dangerous?
Like any water sport, eFoil carries some risk. But guidance from an instructor, a calm and private body of water, and safety equipment reduce that risk considerably. We always start gently and progress at your pace.
Are your eFoils legal in Canada?
Yes. We use Takuma jet-powered eFoils, a propeller-free technology approved by Transport Canada. Unlike propeller models, they comply with Canadian regulations — and they're safer.
Do I need experience to take part?
No experience needed. If you can swim and you're up for trying, that's all it takes. The lesson is designed for beginners as well as those who want to progress.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, knowing how to swim is required. A life jacket must be worn at all times on the water.
Will I manage to fly on my first try?
Most people get their first flight going during their very first session, but it isn't guaranteed — everyone progresses at their own pace, and some days (wind, fatigue) play a role. The main goal is to have fun and learn safely.
What equipment is provided?
All equipment is included: the eFoil board, the life jacket, and a wetsuit if the water is cool. Just bring your swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen.
What is the water temperature?
The temperature varies with the season and the weather. Early and late in the season, the water is cooler — we provide a wetsuit so you stay comfortable. In midsummer, the water is usually pleasant.
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions aren't safe (storms, strong winds), we reschedule your session at no charge to a date that works for you. Safety comes first.
Where do the sessions take place?
On a calm, private lake just minutes from Québec City. Waterfront parking, an easy-access dock and a picnic area on site. The exact address is sent to you when your booking is confirmed.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen. We provide everything else, including a wetsuit if needed.
How long does a session last?
The discovery session lasts 90 minutes, including the briefing, practice and flight. For a longer lesson or a custom format, contact us.
Do you offer group or event sessions?
Yes, it's possible for groups, office parties or special occasions. Since it takes some extra planning, contact us so we can organize it together.
Can I rent an eFoil without a lesson?
Rental is possible in some cases, for people who are already experienced. Contact us to discuss it based on your experience.
How do payment and booking work?
Booking and payment are done online when you choose your time slot. You receive an immediate confirmation and a reminder before your session.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 48 hours before the session (full refund or rescheduling at no charge). Less than 48 hours before, the session is due — no refund or rescheduling. If we have to cancel due to unsafe weather, rescheduling or a refund is always free.
Is there a minimum age or weight?
Age and weight limits apply for safety reasons and depending on the equipment. Contact us if you're unsure about your situation.
Can companions come along?
Of course. The waterfront picnic area is perfect for friends and family who want to watch the session.
